Kanuka Ridge Lodge offered a lovely family getaway for us, nestled just a short drive from Abel Tasman National Park. The friendly atmosphere struck us immediately upon arrival. Our cabin was cozy with a charming terrace that let us soak in the lush surroundings, perfect for morning coffee with the kids. One of the highlights was taking part in the local sea kayaking sessions, organized effortlessly by the lodge. The guides were stellar, teaching us kayaking skills while ensuring our family had a blast exploring the stunning coastline. The exhilarating water taxi rides were within easy reach, adding a splash of adventure for the kids. The communal kitchen was well-maintained, making meal times enjoyable. It was a great way for our family to bond while prepping dinner together. Plus, the opportunity to use fresh herbs from the garden brought a touch of joy to our cooking. Although I had a minor hiccup with the Wi-Fi, it didn't overshadow our lovely stay. I'd recommend Kanuka Ridge Lodge to families seeking a peaceful spot with plenty of outdoor activities and a welcoming vibe. Perfect for nature lovers like me!
